Something I've Noticed...

Well, most of you may allready know it,but I'll say it in case of that there are people, who don't know it yet.I've noticed that you can optimize levels my making models. How?
For example you have imported a .map file made with nems terrain generator, you know that it's made from many little pieces, which slow down the game awlfuly.Select all of the pieces and make them a model, you'll see how much better the game's running.Another one: You've made a bridge of many templates in the rfeditpro the framerate won't be very good when you look at the bridnge from some distance,so select all of the bridge's pieces(the templates the bridge is made of) and make 'em a model. I think it's a good way of optimizing a level, but maybe I'm wrong, maybe there are a lot of minuses too...I don't know,if I'm worng tell me before it's too late and I have alreay made the game. :)
