Help- control over texture- example inside

Post by realityfactoryusr »

Im not sure how to do this- I can apply a texture like this:

But I cant make the texture map in this way:

The texture ends up mapped wherever. Is it possible to UV map the bolt and control how the texture is mapped to the scene?

Modeler's Corner. It has to do with texturing for modelling. If you are referring to the world, then I will move it to World Editing forum.

Yes this has to do with world editing. I called it a bolt when its really supposed to be a pipe ending.

To edit single textures on a brush you first select the brush you wish to edit then press page down and use the left and right arrow keys to select the brush face that you want to switch textures. Then just select the texture and it should change. You can also select textures by pressing page down and selecting the brush face from within the rendered view. If the textures are not changing then you will need to select Build->Rebuild BSP Tree and try again.
