Default *txl file error

I have all ready search for this answer and find no solution to this question. Why is it every single editor I downloaded starts with this same bug: cannot find default .txl file. I got GenEdit Classic-World Editor- RFEditor-RFEdit Pro. I can work my way around it yet this is not the right way to open a editor. Is there someone out there that knows this bug and how to fix it so I can just click my shortcut on my desktop to my editor. And yes all my files are in the C:drive.

Firstly...You should be using RFEditPro.
Secondly...This is not a bug. This is user error.
Thirdly...I typed "cannot find default txl" into the forum search and got this:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3768&p=29748&hilit= ... txl#p29748

You need to look harder...

Finally...this post has nothing to do with Programming. It's about Level Design. Moving to Level Design and Entity Usage forum.

Opening RFEdit Pro cannot find default *txl file

Please stop opening new topics for the same issue. Are you telling me that you cannot figure this out from that data? When you receive the error, it opens a dialog in which you can browse to the default.txl file. It should be in the directory where you installed RF in the media\levels folder.

It needs to save the location to the registry so that it knows where it is from now on. When you first install the program, the entry is not in registry so it asks you for it.
