Try altering the video settings with the video setup tool VideoSetup.exe (found in your Reality Factory root directory) to opengl.

Well, it doesn't even get to the engine initialization. It already fails on creating the Windows window (). I've never heard someone having this problem as creating a hWnd is a common function that rarely fails. What's your operating system? What are your system specs?

@Saberking, I apologize for being harsh. I still stand by my original suggestions of using the search feature and helping yourself though. If all of the 5 methods I put in my edited post above does not work, then post your question. I can guarantee you that 90% of your questions will be answered by one of the 5 methods.

As for your issue, if you are having issues creating the main window, I suggest you reinstall the product. What are your system specs?

OS
Video Card Make/Model
Computer Make
Computer Model
Amount of RAM

@Juutis, this same question has been answered 4 times in the last 2 weeks alone. Do you see the frustration? I wasn't harsh with the first message. I merely said "Use the search feature this has been answered thousands of times". The second time he came back with "type in what"...this signifies that he could not figure out what to type in the search box. To me that means he does not want to help himself but is looking for someone to do it for him or is lacking common sense. I told everyone before...I give you a suggestion the first time, I fire a warning shot the second time, the third time I lose patience because after 3 times you're just not using your brain. I fired off the second time on this one because I perceived his second post to be lacking common sense (sorry Saberking...just being honest)). It was like teaching a child to eat and the child putting the spoon in its ear. There are somethings that are just known by nature.

@paradoxnj
Yes, I totally understand the frustration when people don't bother to search and post the same questions over and over again and I agree with everything you guys said, but that wasn't the point of my post. I just wanted to say that you still shouldn't insult them like you did in your post (and yes, it was indeed the second one. Not the first like I said).
Pain is only psychological.

Thats ok. I forgive you. I'm sorry for throwing an attack on you-_- I did look in the search though. Ok, back on subject

OS Windows XP
Video Card Make how do you find this
Computer Make and this
Computer Modeland this
Amount of RAM Where do you find this

Sorry for being an idiot again.. The reality factory worked on other people's computers though... But reality factory says in grey, reality factory none, (the real program)

I typed in that too, but the things that came on didn't match what I wanted, and you see now that it is different

Use Start | Run and type winmsd in the box and hit enter. It should tell you everything on the first page.

About the search...I typed in the very same thing and found the link posted above on the 4th page of the results. You have to search ALL the results...not just the first page. ;) There are quite a few results from that question.

Ok. Run winmsd again. This time click File | Save and save the NFO file and post it in this thread. It should not be an issue if you downloaded it to a flash drive. It may be an issue if you installed it on a flash drive. What exactly did you download and install?

I installed it on the computer, and I tried to build again, and now this pops up in the gray box at the bottom after the thing pops up saying, error compiling level

Failed to remove hidden leafs.
Compile Failed: GBSP_CreateBSP encountered an error, GBSPLib.Dll.

Please READ this announcement : viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3342
Failed to remove hidden leafs.
Compile Failed: GBSP_CreateBSP encountered an error, GBSPLib.Dll.
This reason for this error has been given on numerous occasions, some quite recently.
