Ok did it.
I am guessing you were expecting that it wouldn't crash. I didn't see the cut scene, but it didn't crash either.
(Now which EXE should I keep on the system, this new one or the original one)

Also, just a reminder: I don't actually care. I'm not going to use a cut scene (yet that i know of).
so if you have more important things to do (e.g. RF 2) then close the thread.
I am however happy to help out and keep trialing it for you (does anyone else get this crash)

Well, at least it doesn't crash anymore. That's a good thing.
To make sure it's not the codec that is causing the problem, can you please tell me the exact version of the Cinepak codec on your system? You can find this information if you

* go to the Start Menu
* select Control Panel
* select Sounds & Audio Devices

On the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties window
* select the Hardware tab
* select Video Codecs from the list
* click on Properties

On the Video Codecs Properties window
* select the Properties tab
* select the Cinepak codec from the list
* click on Properties

in the popped up window click on the settings button
The version I'm using on my PC (and should work) is 1.10.0.11

HOWEVER: I didn't have it installed. I had the file, I also DL Klite and had it installed and could watch all sorts of fancy shit, including the file in question. I guess it's needed for RF to work correctly.

For anyone else with same issue this following reg file fixed my problem (because I already had the file "C:\WINDOWS\system32\iccvid.dll"):

BTW, CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) also works too. Plus it's lesser codecs than K-Lite.
