Relevence of Wall Thickness of 16 **ANSWERED**

Post by Humpty » Tue Oct 26, 2010 4:00 pm

G'day Guys,

Can't find an answer via google or forum search.

Is there a good reason why the default wall thickness / hull thickness is 16?

Is any value good enough or do we get problems if we go lower? (so far it appears ok at 8 but I don't want to make a bunch of levels to find that it is going to crap out under certain circumstances.

(Thanks in advance)

Nothing ever happens, but the best way for mapping is to use solid boxes (better framerate and you can do whatever you want) ;)

Nothing happens as long as you don't move ridiculously fast - then you can sometimes "fly outside of the level" - but that only happens when you are, like i said moving ridiculously fast.
Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.

I can sometimes walk through the walls by moving diagonally (using buttons - W+A) like that.
