you can make then on Gimp or Photoshop also you can try this: http://www.mapzoneeditor.com
it is free, also you can check free textues sites just serch the web there are lots of them, you can also search the web for "wood texture tutorial" or any kind of material you need, all the info is out there you just have to look for it
