world geometry details collision optimize

I have various rubble and rows of floor plaques in level.The detailed collision is needed on the rubble.
Should i try adding one clip brush over empty rows of plaques because the collision between the plaques ont be needed?

I mean no one is 1 texel small to walk between the plaques.
I do not know if it would be wrong for the renderer to have two brushes of the same height,a clip and a solid non transparent.
