Problem with the liquid entity

Post by realgaming135 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 10:50 pm

Hi there.

When I add water to my level and use the liquid entity, and then use the Tintcolor funktion to color the water, something annoying happends. I compile my level and the air also gets colored. It should only be the water that is colored, but all the air above the water is also colored. So when I walk around on the ground, it looks like I am diving in the water. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks :)

Make sure the brush you are using for water is not overlapping any other brushes. In fact, keep your water brush one texel away from adjoining brushes. I had a whole room become water once because the engine got 'confused'.

See if that helps.
