"Drop" key deletes your weapon

I figured out why pressing ; deleted my weapons, it's assigned to
the 'drop' instruction instead of 'holster' which is [, I've tried to
assign nothing to the DROP key and failed. is there a way to
assign nothing to the drop key, or disable this feature?

in control.ini set dropweapon = false. this will not only stop the function but also remove it from the list in the options menu.
