Gmax help

Post by Kiji8989 » Fri Aug 01, 2008 7:31 pm

After doing a search and looing up tuts like its the end of the world...I'm still confused.
I have a computer with windows XP. I downloaded a free .obj wolf from the product section. How can I open it in gmax? Cuz I heard about unzipping it and installing add-ons to make it load right...I also have winzip on my com.

I was never even able to help myself in gmax. Go to your other thread:

Well, anim8or can open .obj files and export them to .3ds files, that gmax can import. It is a long way around, but if it is a good model, it is worth it.
Over 3 years (has it been that long?) and just now I noticed the day and month of my birthday were switched. Whoops!

Some 2d games I made, haven't made anything in a year though O.o

Did you try using a gmax .obj importer?
