Separating Animation in Parts

I got a model from the net,it's in MS3D now and it has a big animation,which includes the iddle position,the running etc.,but all this is in the big animation,so how can I make separate animations from the big animation?

I can do the first one,it's from 0 to 30-th frame.to I'll just make the last frame to be 30,but the others I don't know.
