Can somebody get me a similar model ( a high tech police force model) in the .act format. I have attached the image.
I want to use it as a player.

My time here at RF isn't long, but like many people, the search for models is a long, tedious, and sometimes futile mission.

My questions are:

1. Do you have this model? If you do, I'd need it to convert to an .act file.

2. If you need the model made, then you're going to need somebody who has experience not only in RF, but in to 3d modeling itself AND have the time to do such a thing. I have never run in to anyone that would do it for free either. (which doesn't mean they don't exist...just extremely hard to find.)

Will this work?

If it is what you want then I will convert it to an ACT file when I get home to my computer that has 3ds max.

If you have the exact model I can attempt to convert it though I'll need a copy of the model. Please note attempt to convert it. I'm lousy at boning models so if it's not boned it may take a little more work to get it right.

Send me an email at: Morg223 AT jtworld DOT net and we can discuss more of what you are exactly looking for. ;)

Here is an ACT file of the model I posted above. The zip file contains the ACT, NFO and bitmap files. I'm not sure if the bump map or specular map are correct but they are added to the ACT file. This model doesn't have any motions but it does have a standard 3ds Max biped attached so you should be able to use most of the motions that come with the default Genesis3d actors.

Be sure to read the Turbo Squid license before using this model.

Nice work, Allanon.

Thanks for helping out with that. I was kinda lost with Turbo Squid and what needed to be done. :)
