My first serious Model!

Post by GMer » Sat Oct 10, 2009 6:18 pm

I finally have nailed down a game design, and have finally modeled my first weapon:

With a checkerboard:

Textures are currently pending.
What do you think of it?
Over 3 years (has it been that long?) and just now I noticed the day and month of my birthday were switched. Whoops!

Some 2d games I made, haven't made anything in a year though O.o

It's good for a first serious model, but it's quite blocky. The muzzle needs a slight bevel or something, e.g. make it a hexagon or octogon instead of a cube. The barrel is pretty wide, although that may be intentional.
Once I was sad, and I stopped being sad and was awesome instead.
True story.

I was inspired by a NERF gun
I don't know what kind of projectile it will shoot (bullet or something) but it definitely can use a little more detail.
