Wow... after 3 years... you're back. With a Zombie model on Friday, 13th  Welcome back animatrix. And good luck with your game.

Be sure to download the newest version of RF and try out Equity (download the newest version). It's basically our upcoming own modelling tool for the act format. You cannot model yet, but you can import from ms3d, 3ds, obj, bdy, mot, nfo, key, and you can switch textures, import from texture libraries, add alpha for textures, create motions... It is a really nice tool. And it totally replaces ActView and Viewer because you can view everything on a model you like - textures, motions, bones...
Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.

Thanks, oh, and I dug through my archives and found a lot of act files I had worked on.
Paradoxnj I have found my zombie pack, its like 5 or six different Zombie act files in shabby clothes. they are based on the Neil act file and ready to place in a game enviroment, animations and such. I just need to upload them somewhere for the community, dont know where,

I hope you're going to get better models for the release though. No offence but there aren't good enough for RF2. They look good for RF but nowadays we're gonna need better eyecandy to be noticed at all.

When normal mapping and per pixel point lights are added, you will see a huge difference in the models just the way they are. Functionality before eye candy. Eye candy will be what you guys make.

These models are made to use in RF, low poly and medium resolution textures, and lighting/shaders /reflections make a lot of diference with any model. if it looks awsome and runs at 2 fps, its gonna suck. Anyway, I will try to make some act packages wth several files for diferent kinds of scenes. Maybe a Graveyard set wth creepy acts, rocks, headstones gates ect. :)

RF2 will use the Ogre engine. It can handle 4000+ polys for animated models. I'm actually trying to make 3 different demos. A Resident Evil-like mansion crawler with loads of logic, a racing game, and an online FPS. This should cover all the features.
