Weapon firepoint intersecting a bounding box

If you have a weapon with a long barrel and the fire point bone gets inside a pawn bounding box,
will the weapon fire as usual and damage the pawn?I am interested in doing that in swords,ball on chain,pole arms and have not tested it yet.
Anyone knows?

Try it out with some simple box model or something ;)

It works,or might just be the explosion of the bullets that damage,anyway its ok.

Long weapons with a firepoint far forward often fire through the pawn if you re too close,you have to stand back a little and fire.
