rf For Macintosh

Post by jonas » Wed Sep 07, 2005 11:07 pm

Has anyone thought of compiling rf in macintosh or is it not possible? I found that my mac laptop at school has a c++ compiler!

correct, macs to my knowledge do not have directx; they do, however, have opengl, which rf supports. the biggest obstacle, in my opinion, would be re-writing it to be mac compatible, which would be... difficult, i imagine, though ive never done serious programing for macs, at best.

this isn't free but it's the best mac development environment around...

In my opinion apple laptops rock except for one thing you can't play windows games! The Graphics rock! :D They have a script that is used for almost everything on macs called....but of course applescript. If you guys would like to look into it click here! Looks about as simple as the simkin that rf uses!
