I presume RF is no longer an active project? Been following it for a few years now, it was outdated then, I would presume by now there is so much lacking that there is no point completely updating, but rather starting from scratch would be the only worthwhile option. I guess that's also what RF2 aimed to do but that was cancelled as well I believe.

Edit- On a side note, I have no experience in building editors, I have little knowledge on how exactly I would start, and probably don't always have the time, but I guess there's a first time for everything. So if someone does start work again(On RF or RF2), I'd be happy to give a helping hand, though since I'm still in education there are times when I would not be able to give it everything.

Well, Hgt_terry is working on GameDirector which is to be a game engine as close to RF as he can get it. It is using the Ogre engine for rendering & Physx for physics. It is OpenSource. I'm sure he could do with some help. Why not contact him by PM? no harm in taking a look, you can find it here:-

I downloaded GameDirector I haven't had time to mess with ti much, as I kept nodding off last night, but what I saw looked pretty cool!!

I noticed the full screen 1024-768 and 1280-1024 might look a little stretched horizontally on newer monitors with wider screen proportions like 1920 x 1080, 1280-720 ,1024 x 576.
