Half Life 3 Engine Screens?

Post by wackedoutbiker »

Well, guys, people seem to care more about graphics than actual gameplay. Not saying the HL series is bad, I think it's OK. Graphics good, but the linear gameplay has me wishing for more.

Here's proof:

WOW B-E-A-utiful screens! Well although these screens are great I dout they are real, since there actually will be no HL3 (the episodes ep1 ep2 ep3) ARE Half-Life 3 so the next huge leap into a full game will be HL4 and so im not possitive if these screens are crdible, but either way they look great! And I LOVE Half-Life its not about being able to explore the whole bloody world its about characters, and a STORY. Oh and its beautiful! But if you need more than a dual GeForce 7800's in SLi to run it im realy gonna be peeved! The whole power thing is getting old FAST! they should work out how to make great looking games wiht what Ive already got not what im gonna buy to play it!!!

that was the sh****** vid ever, was no where near 3d, so easy to tell, as if it was a real vid of a game engine then the quality of the recording would be ALOT higher VERY poor.

Hold on yes I agree it was obvious it was not real but i think it was a joke anyway and never meant to be taken seriously but why do you guys say, ''No where near 3D'' or ''Not 3D at all'' isent the world 3D I mean it may not be a game but its still 3D no?

Or mabey the term 3D means something differnt to you like something out of a digital renderer only but to me the WORLD or RL (real life) is 3D...

in the term 3d i agree yea, its anything with a third dimention (something simpsons cant grasp the consept of lol) but what i should of said was no where near a computerised world, when we cant tell the difference between reality and computer generated i do belive we have gone too far, a bit of the matrix style, and that was too real, and if it was a computer generatated world then i would be getting woried right now. we enjoy games because we know that they are make belive and nothing like real, and we have confort in telling this is true by the unrealistic graphics, it will be a point of taking fun and making it real,.

sorry to go off topic a little.
