Milkshape crashes after importing decompiled actors
I have ben using Milkshape to decompile actor files included with Reality Factory. When I try and re-import the .bdy file, Milkshape crashes. (It doesn't crash if I load a decompiled actor I made myself).
Anyone else experienced this?
Also read that I can use the vfs packager to decompile it but that doesn't seem to be included in the reality factory package. Anyone know where I can get it?
Thanks

Me neither, I have problems with it crashing randomly for no reason though causing me to lose work alot of the time.

Many thanks - tried it and it works great.
I've just started using MilkShape 1.7.10 (though I tried it with an earlier version.)
Do you have to map every bone/joint to a vertex. I've been getting a 'Found vertex with an invalid joint!' error when I try and use a decompiled skeleton with animation from RF or Poser
Thanks L

Sussed is english slang
Suss or sus:
1: to attempt to work out a persons character (especially using one's intuition). (eg. 'I have sussed him out')
2. to become aware, to suspect (esp. in phrase 'to suss it')- for example when you feel you understand RF and are making good headway, you might say - 'I've sussed RF'
3. sharpness of mind; social astuteness (eg. 'he is really sussed')
enjoy L

That's odd milkshape rarely crashes for me when importing decompiled actors mostly crashes when I start animating or doing anything except importing and exporting, which is mostly all I use it for.
