.3dt exporter

Post by scott »

i have tried using milkshapes .3dt exporter first on a complex shape and i was expecting it to crash

then i tried it on a cube, wasnt too sure what would happen here as no two sides face each other unles you include back faces, it crashed

i then done a plane, 2 polys to form a square, this also crashed milkshape

so i finaly tried to export just a single poly and this made milkshape crash aswel

any ideas?

i am just looking for something that can export to world geometry for bsp maping in RF, even if its every polly of a model seperatly.

i asked what the .map file was for but no answer

EDIT* and all the generic .map exporter crashes milkshape 2 grrr

I have never had a 3dt export from milkshape. I think it's old and maybe works for old G3D, not RF.

Make sure your models do not have any concave brushes. If one line is out of place, the plugin will fail. I am still in contact with the author. I can see if he will update it for the latest version of Milkshape.
