unfortunatly not, the polygon count at 3348 is way to high, try aiming models at 200 -400 might be better instead of putting all the detail in with polygons use textures they help alot and still makes it look good.

i wouldnt expect it to go down with just the model, but you design your level and add textures soon slows down your pc, add lighting effects, slows down even more, while adding a 3k polly model will work it is unadvisable

yes the problem is that weapons will be seen for the most time, meaning you can have 3000 less polys for the scene because of a high poly model that could have been replaced by a lowpoly model with a bumpmap. If you really want to waste the polys you could have spent on nice scenery then it's your thing, i wouldn't do that.
