I suggest you buy a book, because reading from computer will make your eyes hurt if you read a big book

The scripting commands are in the manual, but otherwise it provides little help.
You should read the e-book, I think it covers the basics pretty well.

Not really, if you read from a LCD monitor.

you CAN print PDFs, so then you can read the e-book with out soar eyes if it affects you. I find its easier to read something printed than it is to read from a screen, not really that it hurts just that the angle etc isnt really right.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not 100% of this, but the LCD technology shouldn't stress your eyes like CRT does.
Reading a book with a LCD monitor should be pretty much like reading a real book.

***EDIT***
Yeah, I prefer reading printed paper to electronic info too.

Well TECHNICALLY LCD should not effect your eyes, BUT if your screen brightness is really high, (like mine always is) and your in a room where the surrounding light is lower, or you dont have the correct lighting (causesing glare etc) then the strain on your eyes trying to adjust to the bright light of the screen and also the dimmer light of the room could potentialy cause eye strain...

... which also occurs if you read a book in dark room with only one small light so that the pages are bright but the surroundings are dark.

I think LCD's still hurt eyes a bit because of the backlight. However, it is nowhere near as bad as the flicker CRT's output.

I normally just print out ebooks. I got really lucky and ended up with a printer that has insanely cheap ink, so I can print out a 100 page guide for about $1.50 plus the cost of paper. At that point I just print out anything I want to read that's longer than about 20 pages.
