I find that using the door entity is more trouble than it is worth.
I just use a moving platform and set an origin for it and animate it using the rotate button. I only need to do one animation that way and it is as smooth silk. It is also easier to do because there is just less involved. Infact there is nothing that I have had to do that I couldnt use a moving platform in place of a door.

Download the files below and put them in "RealityFactory\media\levels".
Then open the level in RFEditPro.
Compile it and run it through RFEditPro.
You will be able to get a good idea of how it works by refering to the settings in the editor.
