I had that issue and fixed it by opening the PlayerSetup.ini and change the following entry.
From:
; width and depth of player bounding box
boxsize = 14
To:
; width and depth of player bounding box
boxsize = 25
And I also tried different thickness settings for the walls.
You can decide what combination is best for you. It really worked for me.
I would say "Let me know if this helps" but no one ever does. LOL!!
