HI,
I need some free household textures ...
cooker .. fridge .. sink .. toilet .. ect
can anyone point me to some?

looked everywere ..with no luck.

Hmmm, I'm afraid I havent spied anything like that recently... Perhaps (assuming you have some of these things accesible) you could take some photos and use them?

The digital camera i have at the moment is not very good
so until i get a better one .. i will just have to keep a look out for some free textures .......

yea i found that site out, i found away past the limit, just disconect from the net wait a min or two and then reconect, because most isp's give dynamic ip addresses, each time you connect to the net you get a new one, the ip address is how that site works out how much you have downloaded.

i know about the mayang website and have used some textures
from there ....
unfortunitly they don,t have the household textures i need at the moment.


I was searching on google last night
and found a nice website with lots of models.
also lots of textures .. a few animated
you can use any or all of these for commercial or none commercial projects.

go and have a look around ...

When I am in need of pictures for mapping, though it is no good for sale often, as many are copy-written, sometimes online catalogues are useful. For housewares, Sears or the like may prove useful, although adjusting perspective and skew may be needful with graphics program.

TextureMaker has a function that is called Textractor that does exactly this - perpective correction. I have used it often with downloaded pictures. This way you can easily make textures for things like skyscrapers even if you don't live near a big town. I also made bookcase textures like that. And of course you can make household textures with it...
