could use some help

could anyone help me with these weapons that i've been trying to make? i'm kinda looking into WWII (corny isn't it) but am having trouble.

i was thinking of using Blender, seems to me to be the best thing out there.

use a picture,look at the tutorials on blender.org,and put a picture on the background,then add some basic shapes,and bobs yer uncle.also theres a book by christian chang which should be quite good,look for it on amazon,or at your library.
Once I was sad, and I stopped being sad and was awesome instead.
