The old, old, old forums....

Post by psychopath »

Hey all.

Is there a static copy of the really old forums around anywhere? I'm talking about way back, in the Ikonboard days.

I remember there were some links to some nice free textures, but I can't find them anywhere.

Heh, I haven't used RF in ages. Although I guess I used to be alright with it, although I wouldn't say I was really good or anything. I only ever released one (really buggy) demo.

I checked filefront, but I didn't find anything related to the old forums there. Couple of texture packs that might be useful though (one of which I already have).

if you mean the RF forum http://www.realityfactory.ca/ <- (will actually link to here)then that went with gekido, that was his site that he hosted, with his money when he left the site left,

i think there is the real real old school site still out there in the void of the internets. floating bout from year 2000 but that's real old school! probally not what you're after though/

yea because it forwards to the new rf page from the old, domain, that site went down just as i joined, probably why i was one of the first to join this forum ;), it did actualy be called realityfactory.ca with its own sub domains to it aswel (i belive), now its just a forwarding site to here.

notice when you put http://www.realityfactory.ca it then goes and loads http://www.realityfactory.info/cms/

i rmemberd someone saying they was going to upload the old site in text format, and mabe theres another post about it but this was the one i found

Yeah, I'm talking about the forums that used to be at support.realityfactory.ca.

What are the chances of Gekido still having that?

you would have to ask quest about that, or even tracking Gekido down.

I was once known as Lone Warrior in the old old old forums.

I don't think that the old forums still exist somewhere. It could be that Gekido has a backup but I doubt it...

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://realityfactory.ca

It has the RF site all the way back to 2003. Sure brings back memories... Sadly they didn't grab the forums.
