so for normal maps could you make a real high poly charachter and normal map it and use the same normal map for a low poly character,and they would look the same?
Once I was sad, and I stopped being sad and was awesome instead.

almost the same. Although this only comes into effect if the model is affected by light.

so its only the shadow,or its all of it,just it needs a light?
