Would you play fRPG?

Post by LtForce »

As Scott suggested I would create a new forum for the game. We would you GURPS Lite rules that you can find here
If there are enough guys to play I will create the forums and be a GM. The form of the game would be free, as players want it to be(medieval, fantasy, science fiction, WWII, WWI, alternative WWII and etc.) Here you can find dice rolling program I'm going to use.

well i voted yes, had a quick look at the rules (2 min looking through half the book) from what i saw (wich was limited) seemed very similar to how i used to play D&D as we didnt bother playing all the rules if they wernt necasery, so it was not to disimilar in the end.

i would like a fantasy based game, set in modern times, with magical abilities (if the rules alow) guns and swords.

i played modern D&D, it was one of the best D&D games i ever played so thats my reason for modern fantasy.

you gain exp points, just like u might in a computer game, you get certan amount of exp for differenc enemies you kill, and for other abilities, they improve for the times ou are successful and some times even when you are not.

... Or the GM could decide all the players get enough XP to get to level 100, which would be unbelievably stupid just like the grinding. Unlike in today's "RPGS" on computer, it's not about gaining levels and grinding, it's about roleplaying.
