Hi, i was wondering does rf support cell shading, and if so, how to do it. like map with cell shading.
Just i love cell shaded graphic.
Cell Shading, i love it.
Cell Shading, i love it.
YOUR IMAGINATION IS THE ONLY LIMIT!
BELIEVE ME!
BELIEVE ME!
Well yes and no,
RF does support cell shading (toon shading) by a work around,
the method doubles your polycount on any model you apply it to. and it's not the true cell shading but you should be able to create visuals similar to this

ok the method,
try to bare with me. if your unfamiliar with modelling this could go over your head but i'll do my best and keeping it simple for you....
the process is that you take your exsisting mesh and duplicate it. enlarge the duplicate model around the original mesh and reverse the faces of the duplicates, then shade it black. this creates an ouline around your model.
this works because RF does not render backfaces, so what it does is fake an outline around the model. having an insideout model on top of the original
can you dig it?
