I'm sorry to get you jumpy for hope, even though I can't help you, but your problem is... interesting. So you said it happens when you click on
"my computer" and open the drive? you mean like the disk drive? It's interesting, It's kinda a pain to have it sitting there, but I suggest that you just move the window to a secluded corner and get it as off screen as possible so you can just get on with your normal business

Thanks agent arrow.
that could be a way to escape the problem. but i think it doesnt fix anything
ive tried formating 1 drive,what happened was,it funtioned just fine...for a moment.
i formated drive d(i have 4 drives c,d,e,f)...after formating, i tried opening the drive again, this time it worked, it didnt open another window...however....after like 5min or 10,the user.exe appeared in the drive. please, pips who know how to fix this witout formating everything.pls help. this "user.exe" acts as if its a virus. but my antivirus doesnt detect it to be like 1.
and..can somebody pls tell me what the F&%* is this user.exe
some say its something with windows32.darn.

Seem a lot of things can cause it:

M$ support could be a last resort I suppose.

USER.EXE is a system program, it's one of the basic windows programs if i remember correctly. This could be a virus that copys the whole file when any function of user.exe is called (or the program is openend). This is not normal for viruses as they normally write something into other programs' code, and don't copy the file. Maybe this is the reason why your antivirus program doesn't recognise it.
i am not sure what it is really, you cannot delete the user.exe by hand (it's in Windows\system32) because windows won't allow this.

Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.

did it start doing this long ago or in hte last couple of days, if its in the last couple of days you might be able to use system restore to restore your pc to a time before the problem, thus emilinating the problem, i was at work for the first time last week and one of the people there had a similiar problem, but im not going back to work for a few more weeks so cant ask them what they did to solve it.
