is there a goruad material?
i think thats the only reason i can't get the normal maps to look good.

Howdy Andy,
You can use gouraud shading by selecting your brush, opening the face attributes dialog, and selecting 'gouraud shading'. I've never been happy with the results, but your more than welcome to give it a try.

Hmmm, after reading this article, it seems like Gourad wouldn't be so good for RF, since it requires hi-poly models to make it look good.
