Look for a screenie today or tommarrow, I will have added a few parked cars on the side, and hopfully a skydome. :D I do have one question about skydomes, I pluged a skydome entity into my level, and compiled and ran it. When i got into the level, I could tell somthing was there because whenever I looked around skyward, I could see a bit of blue on the edges of the screen, but nothing above me. Is the skydome not big enough to cover my level, if so, how would I make it bigger?

Ryan~

It never pays to post while working. I got my threads crossed. Post to Ryan's thread, take two:

I think it looks awesome, Ryan.

So I got the skydome working, but a few problems appeared..as usuall. It does'nt look like the skydome is going all the way down to the edges of the level. I did try playing around with the far clip plane entity, but it messed with my buldings a little bit, and it really did'nt solve the problem of not coming down to the edges. I am using the sky2 scipt.

You have to adjust the Height and the HeightOrigin of the skydome.

although if you can get a grass texture behind it, you could make it look like hills just outside the city...

welcome to the forums! Cities arent too hard to make a layout, you simply draw he surrounding landforms, and fit a grid inside it, the grid represents main roads, then draw various buildings along those lines, with minor lines to represent alleys in between them. make a few buildings take up the space where the lines get too long. all in all, it should look something like this:
