Milkshape Seamless Animations Speed Issues

Post by Jaguar_jwg »

I followed the info in the m3drf.pdf document on ‘Milkshape Seamless Animations’, and I got the animation to loop fine. However, it now moves at twice the speed than previously. I have a rotating object. I had used 10 frames to animate my model. I used the Milkshape Scale Animation tool, and scaled down to 1.
What can I do to slow the animation down?
Here is the ASCII info:

U can change the animation speed :
1.Attach to world model(I think...)
2. Slow down the world Model

I may be talking rubbish, but it is worth a try!
It was not Possible to determine the dimensions of the image....

You can set the animation speed of an actor with the simple script command AnimationSpeed(x); where x is the number with which the speed is multiplied. 1.0 is standard, higher is faster, lower is slower. I don't know what will happen if you use 0.0 or a negative value, but it MAY be possible to play an animation backwards with a negative speed value...
Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.

In what file does that command go and where?

I tried changing the viewAnimationSpeed command in the weapon.ini and that did not change the speed of the weapon inimations when ingame.
