I love VB6. I know it better than VB.Net. I was originally going to try yo do a menu in it but I read that steven was doing it so I gave up. Plus steven's is to make menus, not just using VB to make a menu. Plus I doubt it would work :/

Hey,

Thanks guys for the positive feedback. Thanks for the potential help, AA. I appreciate it very much. I was a VB 6 guy, and when I saw vb.net, it scared me. Now that I do vb.net, I look at VB 6 and I'm lost.

.net is certainly not a 'fast' platform. In fact, it is quite slow. It's just Microsoft's attempt at created a managed code system. What are your system specs?

I have found I need to make another change. The titles need to be selected from the button mapper window, so I have the menu background open they need to go with. Yet another change coming.

This is how software development happens when you dive in head first, willy-nilly, with no road map whatsoever. Livin' on the edge!!!

On my latop, it's a different case:
Processor:
AMD turion 64 2.20 GHZ
memory: 2015Mb
32 bit OS

And with this config, I wonder why....

The express versions are free. I do not believe it is necessary for the functionality to register them. . .but don't quote me on that. :)

I'd swear I've opened mine since installing and not gotten that message. I'll check in the morning when I got home. It may mean something ,though.
