Mapping error help

Post by ArKanuS »

I have just started using RF about 3 hours ago  and when I tried the REditPro I made a map. It is quite a basic map and when I tried to compile I got this error message:

Code: Select all

Overconstrained brush clipped away...
Can anybody help :?:

Yes i know this message too, but i don't know what you can do to avoid it. I don't think it makes a huge difference to the actual map if it appears. Just like
SplitBrush: Brush was not split

The actual map should still work.
Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.

i have never had this error myself, however jay has alot of experience with RF so it may be something else thats preventing you from running your level, now the most important thing is to have your entities, as in your player start and player setup and when building your .bsp make sure you have preview with reality factory check box checked at the bottom before you click build.
