Re: 6 Years Ago. . .
Ah that reminds me of the days when i first came to RF. Of course, that was too a long time ago. I can't believe its 2008 already. I have desktops I made for my game project that say coming in 2007. Feels like I made them yesterday, but am now a year behind and counting of what I thought was actually possible for a release schedule . I of course am not following deadlines now because of my low dev time. And of course much has changed since I came here, and am glad to have spent the time revisioning my project, but back in those days I had much more time because I was a sophomore in high school when I found RF. As the years have gone on, my free time has shrank considerably, especially now that I am in college. Its almost 4 years I have been part of the RF community, and 4 years of game development. Time never stops breaking the speed limit . I know that my profile says member since '05 but really I have been a member since '04. In '05 RF went down for a week because of a nasty Denial Of Service attack and was relocated to a new web home. When it finally came back up, users had to resign up because the list of users was not carried over.
Think outside the box.

That was the first release of RF to have that cool weapon with those cool gloves. I loved those. I remember, though, that I had issues with that release, so I finished Castle of the Pharaoh in the previous release with the old 3 weapons of the baseball bat, sword and square machine gun. ScreamingHawk was going to be my BIG achievement. All those files, levels and whatnot are all long gone now. . . .

Funny that I still like frames, funny that I thought those gloves were cool, funny about the old weapons, or funny that I lost my files?Agentarrow wrote:lol, funny
