Actually I have noticed that more often all of the threads seem to be deviating from their original purpose. It is true, back when I first joined, the community tried as a group to keep everything on topic and it worked pretty well. Ah back in the days when RF was on a Red and gray website... back in the days when RF had a pro version and cost $199 was it? Yesssir, back in that day, we were happy to get RF v 0.69.
Think outside the box.

And people like me ( 3 years with RF) still have to start their first. (one day, one day)
Or you have the people like me that have been working with rf for several years(not even sure how long... I remember I came in somewhere when the .60's started) who have yet to release an actual demo. Maybe one of these days i'll throw together a demo

I think there are many of us long time users then that haven't really shown anything of our own game project. I too am in that boat, and in due time I will finally be able to reveal what my now top secret game is .
Edit:
It is the same project I talked about a while back, but it has and is still going through a major overhaul. I think it'll be easy to justify the amount of thought and planning I am putting into it once it goes public. I have big things planned.

Great to hear that Secret projects that have undergone much thought before coming public usually are a little more interesting. I can't wait to see what you got.

I think you have the exact same plan as I do.
I have pretty darn big plans for my game, and I want to get some content made before I announce it.
