I believe science can save the environment. We need science to figure out ways to counteract all of the pollutants we generate and how to recycle currently non-recyclable products. Also, science lets us create more energy efficient products and enables us to produce things by using less rare natural resources through things such as metal alloys. Science is the only way to keep a high tech society from poisoning itself.
