Sorry to hear that. I assume no serious injury then as you were only there for 4 hours and are back posting already? Glad you're good enough to post! So by biking do you mean motorcycles or regular bikes?

Oh man. Any stitches? I was playing chicken with a friend the night of my sister's high school graduation party. He was on my five speed and I was on her ten speed. Instead of turning away from each other, we turned at each other. I t-boned him. I flew clear over him and landed on the ground. We were both okay, but her nice front wheel looked like a ruffle potato chip. She was really pee'd. Take it easy when riding.

Eight stitches?!! Ouch! Sorry to hear that! Hear I thought that it was just the hospital taking forever(as they do around my area) to get you in and out. Since you didn't mention the stitches in your first post I thought it was just a precautionary trip! I am sorry I didn't take this thread as seriously as I should have with my first post . Any other injuries besides the need for stitches?

Lucky you, Vrage. I've been in more accidents than I can remember and none were my fault. I've never been the driver in any of those accidents so... must be bad karma or something.

Glad to hear you are okay, darksmaster923.

I see a potential joke in there.

All joking aside, its good that your okay for the most part. If that happened to me i would also ask if my bike was fine. When its a none serious injury its easier to heal then to have to buy a new bike.

Wow, that sucks darksmaster. Glad to hear you're OK.
I had to get 18 stitches in my hand one time -- I was working on something out in my garage and our 50 lb+ vise fell of the workbench... on instinct I tried to catch it, but I only got my hand squished between the vise and the edge of a computer case. most seriously injury I've ever had. :(
I always knew that computers would be the death of me.

Commiserations DM hope you are feeling better. We're in a similar situation here too. My wife was involved in a car accident last monday morning. A young girl racer (only 20 years old) came around a sharp bend in the road broadside have totally lost control of her car and hit my wife head on. Nobody seriously hurt fortunately. My wife was taken by ambulance to the hospital but she was discharged after a few hours with just a broken rib and many bruises. It looks a lot worse than it is but she is off work and the car is a total write off. There shouldn't be too much trouble with the insurance as the girl admitted liability to the Guards and it looks as though she will be prosecuted for dangerous driving.
