Multiple File search and replace

Post by hike1 »

I knew there had to be an easier way, I'm editing a bunch of
.map files to change the texture names, wondering is
there something that does all 89 at once?

There's a few out there..

notepad can do that with it's replace tool.

Note pad can't even open more than 1 file at a time let alone search and replace in 89 .txt files.

would like to recommend this site for any thing you need regarding tools/utilities etc

Choose the freeware link http://www.snapfiles.com

This site doesn't Mess it has no popups etc...It used to be called webattack.com but they had to change there name as every one thought it was a hacking site
I have nothing to do with this site but I have found tools like you want in your post ...it more or less has every thing in the freeware section that you can think of

download.com etc has all these links also I just find snapfiles easier to navigate

Any way just a link if you need some freeware prog :)
