If you are talking about shaders, RF does not support shaders yet. If you are talking about coloring the actor, there is a Genesis API function that does this called geActor_SetLightingOptions(). Genesis environment mapping also handles shading the actor according to the lights in the area. I think this is all in the EnvironmentSetup entity in RF.
