Sorry, I have been away for a while, life catches up to us and there is no escape sometimes.
So now that I am back from the Abyss, I hope to actually get started with this project and begin delving into RF, at least for today.

Re: OpenSource Game
Just to get this strait, this game is taking open source to the next level. Not only is the engine opensource, but also the scripting, maps models, and even the Concept! that's amazing, I have never seen a game with ALL of these things before... I hope to contribute!

Re: OpenSource Game
I apologize again for not responding, life just keeps throwing me curves, and it doesn't look like its going to stop anytime soon!
With that said, yes the attempt is to have a completely open source game, utilizing as many open source programs for creation as possible, content and concept. I am sure it is a daunting project when it is looked at form the outside but not when it is considered as a whole. Since RF has undergone an extremely complex creation through the same process, how much different and actually much easier could it be to have an open story? It is only a matter of different realities.
