Early birthday present.

Post by ardentcrest »

On Staturday I'm the big 40.

My kids know I'm a big F1 fan, they tryed to get me tickets for the British Grand Prix.
But all the hotels and other places were all booked up, and to top if all they could get me was to fly in in the morrning watch the race and fly home that night.

So they did the next best thing.

They have booked me and my misses in to one of the best hotels in Ireland, The Gleneagle hotel,
for 3 nights. But to top it all the hotel will be the home and HQ for the "Rally of the lakes"

http://www.rallyofthelakes.com/

one of the biggest rallys in Ireland, for those 3 days.

Cant wait.

As the hotel has free wifi I want miss out on RF aswell, but as I'll spend most of my time in the bar    I might not be able to post :D

See you all after my hangover (2 to 3 weeks)

Or even stand by the sounds of it.

Have a great time you're only 40 once. Life begins at 40 and I wouldn't disagree with that. Aren't kids great especially when they do something like that. Anyway have a good time, if you take plenty of water with it and plenty of food you shouldn't get too much of a hangover.

see you soon.

thanks Mr B. catching up with you, What 4 years to go

My 6 year old girl just asked me is there anything alse I would like, and i said yes, RF2.

She just gave me a blank look. How can you tell a little girl that you are with a,

"World wide group, with aspirations of world dominance"

Does that make AndyCR our Dr. Evil .

I love racing, but not Nascar. I like F1, Indy car, but mostly I like the competitions where people design and build their own cars and race. Nothing like seeing a Ferrari hit a wall at 100mph or seeing a BMW roll six times XD
