Converting WMV to SWF and Youtube Formats

I have a WMV video I wish to put on my website and on Youtube, so I could probably make it in youtube format an embed it right? but how do I do so?

erm, just upload it to youtube and get the embed code from there?

youtube has its own format, it's like .vid or something

It's flv, but YouTube automatically converts common video formats to it when uploading, including wmv.
