hmm. try this:

go to c:\realityfactory\realityfactory.ini, and find the line

Driver=d3d

and change it to

Driver=ogl

then save the file and run realityfactory again. that changes the api it uses to render graphics from directx to opengl, and depending on your hardware that may be the problem. if not, feel free to post again and we can try something else.

also, could you post the contents of c:\realityfactory\realityfactory.log?

i think we had another user with the same error. that error normally indicates bad texture sizes, but since you are simply running the demo and getting it, it can't be that. could you post your computer's specifications, particularly video card?

is the graphics card "Intel extreme graphics" or "Intel extreme graphics 2"? I know for a fact 2 works, but do not know if one works. sometimes the video card is just not good enough to run rf, but that one should be.

you might try downloading one of the rf demoes on the download page, most of them were made with an older version of rf, it might help us with whether its something that was just added or not causing the problem.

sorry im not being as much help as i wish i could be, this is a really odd problem...

Most likey you are missing a file or using a wrong file name, or a file without extension where and extension is needed
