New Concept of RFExchange

Post by sankha93 »

I have been thinking of a website where one would be able to share all the RF resources, games, tutorials. I want to call it RFExchange. It will be a common platform to share stuff.

Please give your views, then I will start my work.

All of these ideas are nice, but it would be nice if some how we could get one site and have that one site directly supported by the rf community with a link of some sort on the main page so new users could find it quickly. A site with like a wiki, irc, and content. All this with the forum would make a more rounded community.

I agree with you in most parts, but,

As you know dylanwinn is doing a wiki

Juutis Has an Reality factory irc setup for ages ( irc.quakenet.org #realityfactory ) Which I link to on my site, I also have a mulit room chat room on my site.

and my site ( see link below ) for content. Remember it's is up to the community to add the content to the wiki and to my site, me and dylanwinn can only do so much on our own.

It would be silly if one person came along and did one site for all the above when three people have already have done a lot of hard work getting them up and running.

I do think There should be a link to all three site On the main RF page.
But most of all I think it's up to the community to help fill them.

Well I for one will start using the irc Juutis has set up. Actually just joined it now. Any of you using firefox try the chatzilla addon. It turns irc://irc.quakenet.org/realityfactory so you can simply goto the url and the irc chat comes up in a new window. Pretty nifty.

Definitely agree 100% with you.
