Color balance

Post by Veleran »

The levels look redish to slightly magenta on the medium toned parts. The highlighted areas arent so red.

I used no default light, and the lights i put are bright and dont have that red color anyway.
The flames are just Spouts particle sprays (they 're not dynamic light flames).

I was working with the lightning on a wall section geometry sample using a texture for the walls and aother for the floor-for a start, and thought maybe i could get rid of the red screens.
The color looks the same in all driver modes.

I dont have any special calibration to my monitor, and i checked the graphic gard seting, and there are no different color balance settings there, and i cant fix it.

The geometry has temporary textures, and if nothing happens,i will make some textures specially for these wall tiles even if they look red.
I temporary uploaded there two screens and two textures.

Maybe someone could post a screen of a room using grey lights and the stone textures of the link above with no default lightning,so i can see if the red is over saturated to other people also.

I removed the textures from there. If someone whats to try them and post a screen,i can upload them in a temp downloads page.Maybe i do it anywaqy-but i dont see much interest.
The screens are red indeed.Even my father who is an tv electronics technician told me so.
