What do you think of the new president of the USA?

I guess you all have been expecting such a topic. Here we can discuss why we are happy/unhappy with the new president.
No flaming, racistic comments are allowed, and I hope, will be removed by the mods and admins.

I'll start
I think it's a good thing Obama's gonna be the new president, and as a non-American citizen, I didn't really like Bush and his politics. In Belgium, people also see Sarah Palin as not very smart, no offence, Sarah.
I'm also happy that America's ready for an afro-american president. It looks like we're getting more mature in those USA, doesn't it? XD
The only thing I fear is that Obama's campaign isn't going to last very long (see Martin Luther King).

I think this topic is a little too dangerous in as much as it is likely to cause too much disagreement and argument. Politics and religion should never be discussed on forums or in pubs. Sorry to spoil the fun matte.
